Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Jaisalmer Sightseeing – Sam Sand Dunes – Camel Safari & Desert Camping
Arrive in Jaisalmer and begin your exploration of the Golden City. Visit the impressive Jaisalmer Fort, a living heritage fort known for its golden sandstone architecture, narrow lanes, temples and traditional residences. Continue to Patwon Ki Haveli and explore the detailed carvings and architecture of these historic mansions.
Later, visit Gadisar Lake before departing for the Thar Desert. Drive towards the Sam Sand Dunes, where the landscape gradually changes from the historic city to vast stretches of golden desert.
On arrival, check into your desert camp and enjoy a camel safari through the dunes. The camel ride offers an opportunity to experience the traditional way of travelling across the desert while enjoying the changing colours of the landscape. Watch the sunset over the dunes before returning to the camp.
In the evening, enjoy a traditional Rajasthani cultural programme featuring folk music and dance. A traditional dinner can be served at the camp, followed by a relaxing evening under the desert sky.

Day 2: Desert Sunrise – Breakfast – Jaisalmer Departure
Wake up early to experience the peaceful atmosphere of the Thar Desert at sunrise. Enjoy the morning views across the dunes before breakfast at the camp.
After breakfast, check out and return towards Jaisalmer. Depending on your departure schedule, you may have time for additional shopping or sightseeing in the old city. Explore local markets for Rajasthani handicrafts, textiles, leather products and traditional souvenirs.
Later, continue to Jaisalmer railway station, airport or your next destination, marking the end of your desert tour.
